At the Corporate Staff for Procurement and Financial Management, approximately 75 employees work to drive Region Skåne's procurement activities for goods and services. We are located in modern and pleasant offices at the headquarters by Dockan in Malmö, with nice lunch restaurants in the area and close to public transport.

We are now looking for three purchasers with a genuine interest in good business for the units of Operational Support Procurement and IT MT Lab. We offer a broad and exciting role with good opportunities to influence your work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a purchaser, you will carry out qualified purchasing and procurement work within your category area. You have an important role as a project leader in procurements and are responsible for developing various needs and market analyses, business setups, and category strategies. Furthermore, you will develop a good understanding of the supplier market, conduct negotiations, write contracts, and manage contract administration.

You play a crucial role as a project leader for the execution of the procurement assignment. You are expected to contribute to an innovative environment where we constantly seek better ways to achieve our prioritized goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome candidates with a university degree, preferably in economics, law, engineering, procurement, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. We appreciate if you have good knowledge of or experience working in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU).

In this position, you will conduct oral negotiations and formulate contract text, so it is required that you have excellent knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form. You should also have good experience with the Microsoft Office suite, where advanced knowledge of Excel is considered a prerequisite for the position.

The tasks require you to be structured and goal-oriented. You are a good negotiator with the ability to maintain and further develop relationships with clients, various market actors, and other stakeholders. Furthermore, you are driven and have a good ability to work independently while valuing good collaboration with your colleagues. You are a problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and appreciates developing yourself while contributing to your colleagues' development. Personal suitability is highly valued.
